Video Killed the Radio Star… Who We Are and the Twestival Twitter-ati at Brightwest
Jeeeeez – we’ve gone all multi-media…. Here’s a couple of recent video snippets.
First up is yours truly, doing a Richie Benaud impression as an excuse to explain who we are and what we do here at C&M* HQ.
The second is a Brightwest / Twestival roundup from uber-organisers special_noodles and shortlisted. If you didn’t already know, Brightwest raised over £2,500 for Charity:Water, and Twestival is currently clocking in at around $250,000,000 worldwide for the same fantastic cause. (We were very proud to sponsor a different kind of liquid refreshment on the night in Brighton…)
You’ll see that I sneak in towards the end of the piece in a (dubious) sober attempt to make a business case for Twitter.
But, for a far better explanation of why the Twitter-ati are all in a lather and how companies of every shape and size can be using Twitter to good effect, check out Rowan’s piece in Director magazine from earlier this week. (In short, Twitter is all about being interesting and engaging. A lack of charisma can be fatal!)
