Roger Warner, Managing Director
El Jefe
Roger founded C&M in 2008 because it was necessary. The world needed better PR-led, Social Media-based solutions to its interweb marketing problems. He lives in Lewes with his wife Gerry, his son Lucas and an ever-growing menagerie of dogs, cats and bunnies. He’s obsessed with cricket and wears a blue suit Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (grey on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
He has over 15 years experience in web, technology, and PR-related communications practices – including a lengthy stint as Director of PR for IBM Europe, and running campaigns for the likes of HP, Toshiba and other household names.
Prior to C&M he had spent four or more years working with web and tech-related startups, generally helping them move from zeros to heroes. (Actually, no, one of them didn’t exactly fly.)
For example…. Roger was responsible for kick starting the fortunes of world-beating open source software developers, Squiz and their market-leading open source CMS, MySource Matrix.
He’s also recently helped Velocity to become the funkiest B2B technology marketing consultancy on the block.
Many moons ago, he was also a budding young centre half for Charlton Athletic. Unfortunately he was shown the door at the age of 18 after two years of boot cleaning, chasing centre forwards (slowly) and praying for the offside trap to work.
