Robin Kaye, Non-Executive Director
Robin was coaxed out of (very early) retirement to join the C&M board in March 2008. Aside from an encyclopedic knowledge of garden shrubs and Banks Dorys, Robin gives C&M a wealth of commercial know-how and business development smarts. His role is to guide MD Roger Warner on generating and driving the company’s new business strategy as well as providing support in creating commercial partnerships and generally plotting the firm’s growth.
He is the other half of C&M’s award winning UK FreeRunning Parkour team and even wears a suit occasionally.
Prior to C&M, Robin was Chief Operating Officer at Oakam, a private equity backed start up financial services company for people traditionally ignored by the UK banking sector.
Before Oakam, Robin was a Director at Barclays Bank Plc where, over an eleven year period, he was responsible for lots of big change and commercial developments – from problem definition and delivery across new brand launches to regulatory change. During this time, Robin was accountable for budgets in the many tens of millions and hundreds of staff. In his further but not-too-distant past, Robin has also enjoyed time buying and selling boats and other high ticket goods.

Say Hello to Paul, Our Very Affable New Head of Accounts
As our original ad for the role stated, Paul’s job is to be more Mad Men than IM, Twitter, Foursquare and the rest. His job is to talk to all of our clients – preferably at a distance of three paces, and to get the Martinis in whenever they’re needed. Oh, and to always have a glowing report to hand.

In C&M’s experience, failure to deliver value on Social Media projects is 95.769% down to the lack of a plan. Why? Because 95.6579% of the time Social Media is seen as free
