David Preece, Online PR Executive (UK)
Online PR Maestro
David is C&M’s very own tech geek, with an interest in all things digital (and sometimes analogue too). As part of the content implementation and execution online PR dream team, David is responsible for jabbing the figurative internet hornet’s nest with a stick and generating an almighty buzz.
Shortly after graduating from University College Falmouth with a degree in Journalism, he made his way from the bustling metropolis of a small Devon farming town to the bright lights of Sussex and Brighton.
After working for database company e-DBA and writing freelance for local and online publications, David found his way to GMC where he helped develop, launch and maintain their flagship editorial website to great success, as well as project managing and overseeing the ongoing development, social media and content work on several other sites.
When not writing scintillating copy and plugging his brain directly into the internet to discover its many secrets, David likes nothing better than watching live music and going for ridiculously early morning runs.

The Google Round-up Rodeo
Every morning, my first thought on waking is, invariably, ‘What have Google been doing while I was asleep?’ I rub my bleary eyes, stretch, and let out a moan so wretched and foul that nuns across the world shudder as one, cross themselves and invoke the Holy Father. Why do I get so upset? Because no one has compiled a short blog post rounding up minor changes that Google have made to their search engine.
