David Preece, Head of Content
David is C&M’s head of content and our very own tech geek, with an interest in all things digital (and sometimes analogue too).
As head of C&M’s content implementation and execution dream team, David is responsible for making sure things work correctly, thus minimising the amount of ruptured steam pipes, klaxons going off and red strobe lights flashing directly in people’s faces (but he mainly just spends his time creating engaging copy and helping to design, build and implement new web and Social Media properties with one eye on engagement and the other on solid SEO principles).
Shortly after graduating from University College Falmouth with a degree in Journalism, he made his way from the bustling metropolis of a small Devon farming town to the bright lights of Sussex and Brighton.
After working for database company e-DBA and writing freelance for local and online publications, David found his way to The GMC Group where he helped develop, launch and maintain their flagship editorial websites to great success, as well as project managing the ongoing development, content work and social media strategy across other sites in their online portfolio.
When not writing scintillating copy and plugging his brain directly into the internet, David likes nothing better than watching live music and going for ridiculously early morning runs.
